Welcome To Awaaz - The first FREE multi-lingual newspaper in Britain

What is Awaaz?

Featuring Local, national and business news, we also cover sports, arts and health. Everything for the Asian Community in a monthly newspaper - for free.

Awaaz is distributed throughout Kirklees and Calderdale, it is available to our readers free of charge at selected local outlets, supermarkets which include Tesco and Sainsbury and it is also available at local health and community centers.

Awaaz is a community newspaper with a growing readership of 84,000.Our multi-lingual content ensures that we reach the diverse range of communities across West Yorkshire, both young and old alike.

We also provide a cost effective translation service ’Tarjuma’ for all our advertiser to ensure they get their message across to the whole community.

With over twenty-two years serving the Asian population of Yorkshire, we are well known, widely respected and trusted source of information for the community.

Indeed we pioneered community - based journalism. Awaaz has a varied readership and whilst we target the readership age range of 16 - 55, it is equally popular with other age groups.
