Children complete successful imtihan

| As we prepare to welcome the Holy month of Ramadhan, Muslim children all over the country took part in the annual ‘imtihan’ at the end of last month. These tests taken at the local madressahs assess the children’s abilities in the memorisation of the Holy Qur’an, Arabic and Urdu languages and general knowledge on Islamic studies. Huddersfield’s Madressah Taleem-ud-Deen held its annual ceremony on 18th September attended by parents and residents. Prominent speakers included Moulana Nasib-ur-Rehman, Moulana Umar Zulqarnain, Dr Naazir and the Imam Hafez Sabir Hussain. Annual report was presented by Azam Rafiq. Speakers emphsised the importance of education and all children celebrated the successful completion of the imtihan.
