Women in Business are holding a free event targeted specifically at women who have, or are about to start their own business. The event will be held at the Cedar Court Hotel, Bradford on Thursday 29th September 2005 from 10:30am until 3:30pm.

Sharon Jandu from Women in Business, told Awaaz: “Increasingly our work is identifying a hunger among women to be involved in business.” Among the confirmed speakers on the day are Nighat Awan OBE - Managing Director - of the Shere Khan Group of restaurants and food products.

To compliment the event an exhibition will be running alongside the workshop. Organisations and companies will offer a range of help and advice on business-related issues ranging from banking and tax to service solutions and legal issues.
